Interest Edge ("the app", "we", "us") is a private ledger that helps you record money you have lent or borrowed and calculates the interest. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. By using Interest Edge you agree to this policy.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or use third-party analytics or tracking services.
Your account and ledger data are stored using Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore) on Google's cloud infrastructure. Access is restricted by security rules so that each account can read and write only its own data. If you use Google Sign-In, authentication is handled by Google under Google's own privacy policy.
Any details you enter about another person (for example, the name or phone number of someone you lent to or borrowed from) are provided by you and visible only within your own account. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to record that information.
Deleted entries are held in an in-app "Deleted Entries" area for 90 days and then removed permanently. You can permanently delete your entire account and its data at any time from within the app (Settings → delete account). Deleting your account removes your ledger and account records.
Credentials are managed by Firebase Authentication. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is governed by server-side security rules. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Interest Edge is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under the age required by your local law to consent to data processing.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
